What is PIM Related Software?
Many of my software ideas are personal information management (PIM) applications, which I consider to encompass:
- desktop wikis
- journaling
- scrap booking
- note-taking
- spreadsheets and databases
- todo lists and task management
- presentations
- maps
- timelines
Timeline Related Posts
Timelines are something that interest me for personal use. There seem to be so many times when I want to organize historical information for understanding relative proximity of events, or for reminding myself of the scale of time over large relative spans.
Generally I think a decent PIM would have a built in way to track space and time over very large spans to facilitate these ideas, and to build personal, unified and consistent timelines across very many smaller timelines.
