High Quality Linux Audio

I think it is still harder to have quality audio on Linux. Try to get a functional 96k, 24bit audio setup by buying an audio interface and plugging it in. Plug-and-play. Not sure from year to year what the current situation is, but I think UAC 2.0 capable devices will not function normally, and UAC 1.0 devices will not work at their highest possible quality. PCI audio cards will not necessarily work as high quality as they are capable of, even with finagling.
